SARAH KLAREN co-stars as Gabby, a childhood friend of Miles’ who never left the small town where she was raised. Even though she is in an abusive relationship, she continues to be a positive spunky girl who tries to make the best of a bad situation.
Sarah has been a theater actress since she was 11. She is a self-taught guitar player, singer/songwriter and a charismatic soul in search of every avenue in which she can express herself artistically. In 2011 she was nominated for an Elly Award for Best Actress in a Drama, for her performance as “Mina” in the stage production of “Dracula”. Along with “Return to Nowhere”, Sarah is starring in 2 other feature films this year: Chasing Rodriguez and Dark Harvest.
PETER KEPLER plays Dominic, the high-powered executive pressuring Miles to return to his job in Seattle.
Peter has been an actor in the San Francisco bay area for close to 20 years. He is in the up and coming feature film "About Cherry" which premier’s September 2012, starring Heather Graham and James Franco. Peter can also be found on TV, billboards and magazines in the current campaign for Amtrak, along with several other regional and national commercials.
CARL SCHREIBER stars as Miles Patterson, a successful businessman who has no interest in the rural town where he was raised nor the people who live there. When he begrudgingly returns for his father’s funeral he is reminded of what he used to hold dear and begins to struggle with his priorities.
Carl developed his love for acting while performing school plays in grade school and reenacting movie scenes for his older brother’s amusement; crying and curse words were included. More recently, Carl has booked a recurring role on the TV show “The Young and the Restless” and has starred in numerous independent films and web series in the Bay Area. To pay for his acting classes, skin care products and hair gel, Carl works as an Account Executive.
SCOTT MATHISON plays Joe, an ex Marine who returned to the small town after serving in Iraq. He is an upstanding member of the community, but things aren’t always as they seem.
Scott has always had a love for movies and as a child he was constantly reciting lines from his favorites. His passion and constant rehearsal was what led Scott to chase his dream of becoming a full time actor. Scott has worked on numerous projects including the TV show “I (Almost) Got Away With It”, a commercial for Ford and several other short and feature length films.

In 2009 LC decided to pursue her life long dream of becoming an actress. She has studied in Sacramento, San Francisco and at the Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in West Hollywood.
DON DIMICO as Charles Patterson
Don has been an actor and film producer for more than 30 years working in the Bay Area as well as New York and Los Angeles. Don recently won the BATCC award for his stage performance as Willy Loman in "Death of a Salesman". His film experience ranges from low budget to major studio productions, including photo doubling for Jack Nicholson in "As Good as it Get's"
BRYTON BERDAHL as Hayden
At 10 years old, Middle of Nowhere is Bryton’s 4th film project. He has also done several commercial and print jobs including KIA, Mountain Mike's Pizza, Psychology Today and Purell. When he is not acting, or being home schooled, he is participating in Air-soft tournaments, collecting comic books or playing boardgames with his brother. Bryton is also very musical, he plays both the violin and the drums.
